Nu-Way Cleaners |
Founded in 1972 by Jim and Marta Nixon, the first location of The Cleaners was in Greeley, Colorado. Through the years, the company has grown to include ten locations and over sixty employees. Jim has served the industry as president of the Rocky Mountain Fabricare Association (RMFA) and went on to serve as president of the International Fabricare Institute (IFI). The family tradition continues as the daughter, Mary Marta, and her husband Brad Ewing are both active in the business. Brad has also served as president of RMFA. Additionally, Brad holds the Certified Environmental Dry Cleaner (CED) designation from the Drycleaning and Laundry Institute. |

Iris City Cleaners and Laundering Company , a comprehensive professional launder and dry cleaner, serves the community of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa and 18 surrounding communities with weekly route service. The business has been in its present location since 1947. Ed and Mary Longanecker have owned Iris City Cleaners from 1989 to present. Ed, a Certified Professional Dry Cleaner, Certified Professional Wetcleaner, and Award Of Excellence from Drycleaning and Laundry Institute; also teaches spotting and dry-cleaning techniques, serves as a writer and consultant to the industry and works with Jim Nixon of Colorado in the equipment business.
